This is something I have wondered about. When others have done so much to help you get to the aisle, paid in money, time, effort, sacrifice...it must be so much harder to turn back. I can see why so many people would just take that walk, take the hit so as to delay hurting those who thought they were helping.

It does happen to more people than we ever realize in one way or another, from sexual abuse to physical or mental abuse and like you said it is so sickening!
